1. Set Clear Goals

Start by setting clear, specific goals for your academic and personal life. Identify what you want to achieve in a semester, a month, a week, and even on a daily basis. Having clear objectives will help you prioritise your tasks and stay focused on what truly matters.

 

2. Create a Weekly Schedule

Develop a weekly schedule that includes all your classes, study sessions, and other commitments. Be realistic about the time you allocate for each task and ensure you have built-in breaks. Parkinson’s Law states that tasks will often take as long as you allow them to. This means if you allocate too much time for a task, it will expand to fill that time, leading to inefficiency. Instead, set realistic deadlines and use techniques like time blocking to ensure you work efficiently within specific time frames.
