If you love art, make sure you stop by the Art Gallery of South Australia, which is renowned for showcasing over 38,000 works of art from some of the world’s most influential artists.

The Art Gallery of South Australia is easy to get to by either public transport or by foot, as it’s located between the South Australian Museum and University of Adelaide.

3.    Get to know Australian wildlife at Adelaide Zoo

Did you know more than 2,500 animals call Adelaide Zoo home? Some of the Australian wildlife you’ll get to meet at the zoo includes the Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo, the Victorian Koala and the Yellow-footed Rock-wallaby.

The zoo is not only limited to native animals, there are also plenty of international animals within the zoo like the African Lion, Sumatran Orang-utan and Malayan Sun Bear.

4.    Enjoy delicious food at Adelaide Central Market

Dating back to 1869, the Adelaide Central Market is a fantastic place to taste some of the local produce, from cheeses to health foods. So while you’re there stock up your fridge with delicious food at a great price.

5.    Hit some of Adelaide’s laneway bars

If you need a break from studying and want some ideas of where to go on a Saturday night out, Adelaide’s Laneway Bars should do just the trick. Some of the more popular laneway bars include Casablabla and Udaberri, both located in Adelaide CBD on Leigh Street.
